- National Hurling League Champions
Heartiest congratulations and well done to Derek McGrath, Kevin Moran, Jake Dillon, Shane McNulty, Eddie Barrett, Stephen Daniels, Mark Cooney, Fergal O’Brien and the Waterford senior hurlers on being crowned National League champions after an excellent win over Cork last Sunday in Semple Stadium. It was a great performance by Waterford and a very proud day for the club to see Kevin Moran lift the cup as captain of the team and to see him repeat his semi final display to be once again selected as the TG4 man of the match.
- Camogie Division 2 League Champions
Congratulations also to Beth Carton and Brianna O’Regan who won National League medals on Saturday with the Waterford camogie team. Beth scored 2-1 and made it a club weekend double by also being selected as player of the match. Brianna was standby keeper. Given that both players are still eligible for minor in 2016 and have yet to play a club adult game this was a tremendous achievement by them.
- Senior Hurling Championship
We begin our quest for county senior hurling honours with a difficult assignment against Tallow in Fraher Field next Friday but we will be hoping to get the campaign off to a winning start. We would ask our followers to come out and support us on the night.
- County U-16 Football Semi Final
Our U-16 footballers are scheduled to play the county semi final next Saturday against either Gaultier or Clashmore/Kinsalebeg but at the time of writing no fixture has been confirmed.

County
Well done to the Waterford Intermediate Camogie squad who played Laois last Sat in Dr. Cullen Park Carlow in the Irish Daily Star National Camogie League Div 2 final. Waterford were victorious on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-5. Our club girls on this panel were Brianna O’Regan and Beth Carton. Ita Murphy was also a mentor. Beth also picked up the player of the final award notching 2-1 from play and also setting up some vital scores. Well done to the entire squad and management team.
