oRESULTS U 12 A Hurling League Semi Final DLS V Ballygunner 2-13 to 3-10 DRAW U 13 Hurling Championship DLS v Ardmore 4-12 TO 1-02 WINS Minor Hurling Championship DLS vs Ballygunner 1-15 to 0-18 DRAW Intermediate Football Championship DLS v Kill 1-10 to 2-11 LOSS DLS vs Newtown 2-10 to 1-6 WIN Intermediate Football Championship Our intermediate footballers were out last week with two games. With a narrow 4 point loss to Kill in Dunhill on Wednesday they bounced back to winning ways on Saturday with a fine display against Newtown in Kill on Saturday evening with 7 points to spare. Minor Hurling Championship Our minor hurlers began their campaign with an exciting game in McGinn Park, Ballygunner last Wednesday. The lads led from start to finish with fine performances all over the field and were just unlucky not to come out with the win as Ballygunner scored a in the last few minutes to level the game. The group can take a lot from this game and are out again on the 24th July against Roanmore. Family Fun Day 2019: Our 2019 Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday 21st July in our Gracedieu Clubhouse. The sponsored walk will begin at 1pm and will leave from Gracedieu and go along the Waterford Greenway and return back to Gracedieu. Afterwards at the clubhouse we will have a free BBQ, fun activities for all ages, music from DJ Glenn Sheridan, Cúl Heroes and lots lots more!! Our sponsored walk cards can be got from any committee member. If anyone would like to help out on the day please contact Eoin Casey on 0871204232. This event is one not to be missed and we are encouraging everyone to attend. . Renault GAA World Games 2019 The Renault GAA World Games will be played out at the Sports Campus of Waterford Institute of Technology in Carriganore from July 28 to August 1, with the finals taking place on August 2 at Croke Park. We will be hosting Toronto Men and Ladies football teams on Tuesday July 30th between 7.30pm and 9:30pm in our clubhouse. With ribs and colcannon and Irish music on the night. All are welcome to attend!! We are also looking for two stewards from the club to help with the parade which is taken place on Sunday July 28th in the city. Camogie News U I4 Inter Blitz Waterford Blues won the A cup competition & Waterford Whites defeated Waterford Stripes in the C shield competition. De La Salle Camogie Club were well represented Maggie Gostl, Aoife Connolly, Alannah McNulty, Kayleigh Kirby, Abbie Mullane & Ella Holohan. Some other of our club girls were away on holidays. Well done to all the girls & mentors All Ireland Senior Championship Well done to Beth Brianna and Keeley on their recent win v Clare in Walsh Park on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-12 points which guarantees quarter final spot. WELL DONE A big well done to Abbie Flynn on her recent performances with the Irish U18 Basketball team in the European Championships last week. Training: Tues - u16, 18 & seniors @ 730pm. Weds - u8 & 10 @ 630pmFri - u18 & seniors @ 7pm. Sat - u12 @ 10:30am. All in Gracedieu unless notified by team mentors of a change of venue.
