    • Tour De Salle 2016

    The rescheduled annual cycle takes place on Saturday 30th July 2016. Registration at John Kelly Opel from 9am (Leaving at 9.30am ) Participants will have the option of 50 or 75 KM routes and refreshments will be served before, during and after the event. Entry fee is €10 and as this is the main fundraiser for the club we are looking for team members to fill their sponsorship card and cycle/steward on the day.

    • County Minor Hurling Championship

    Next Wednesday 20th July sees the beginning of the minor hurling championship. Our first game is away to Abbeyside with a 7.30pm throw in. We would ask our members to please travel and support the lads in their bid to make a winning start to the campaign.

    • Juvenile Games

    Our juvenile section has been busy recently. Our U-16 hurlers played their first two games in the county championship losing 3-15 to 0-21 to Ballygunner before bouncing back to defeat Mount Sion 1-21 to 1-9. Our U-15 hurlers operating in the eastern division 2 made a winning start beating Clan na Gael 7-8 to 1-3. Our U-13 hurlers began their campaign losing to Ballygunner by 2-10 to 1-7.

    • Munster U-21 Semi Final

    Well done to joint captain Adam Farrell, debutant Jack Fagan, who both saw action, and the Waterford U-21 hurlers who defeated Clare in Walsh Park last Wednesday and qualified to play Tipperary in the Munster final.

    • All Ireland Quarter Final

    Best wishes to Derek McGrath, Kevin Moran, Jake Dillon, Shane McNulty, Eddie Barrett, Mark Cooney, Fergal O’Brien and the Waterford senior hurlers who take on Wexford in Thurles next Sunday in the All Ireland Quarter Final as they attempt to get back to Croke Park.
