- Sargent Cup Senior Hurling League
De La Salle 2-20 Cappoquin 1-19
Our senior hurlers sponsored by John Kelly Opel ended their Sargent Cup campaign with a win over Cappoquin in another high scoring game in Gracedieu last Saturday. Two goals in the first twenty minutes from Paudie Nevin helped us to a 2-8 to 0-7 lead. It was 2-11 to 0-10 at half time and we continued to maintain that gap throughout the second half until a late goal for Cappoquin reduced the arrears but it was not enough to change the outcome.
