This is the Annual Inter-County Under 14 Hurling Tournament hosted by Waterford on the last weekend in August each year (Sat Aug. 27th). Division One is named after Tony Forristal, the late Mount Sion man, while Division Two is named in memory of the great De La Salle and Waterford stalwart Sonny Walsh.
Sonny represented Waterford at all ages for close on 20 years, winning a National League medal and All Ireland Runners Up medals in 1963. He served as Chairman, secretary and treasurer of his beloved club while still playing. Sonny was a founder member of the original Tony Forristal tournament. He died suddenly in 1983 at our club grounds in Cleaboy (at the young age of 39) while training our minor team.
