    1. Minor Football Championship

Next Sunday 2nd February sees the beginning of the new season which commences with Ricky Grogan’s minor footballers making the long trip to Ballymacarbry to take on the Nire in a game timed for 11.30am. We have been somewhat unfortunate with the draw in that we have to travel to four of the five western teams in the group but hopefully after few disappointing campaigns in this grade we can show an improvement this year.

    1. Dinner Dance

The club’s victory Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday night 1st March in the Granville Hotel at 7.30pm. It promises to be a great occasion with county medals to be presented to our intermediate footballers, U-21 hurlers and minor hurlers. Eastern medals will also be presented to our intermediate footballers and U-21 hurlers. Tickets are priced at €40 and numbers are limited. Please order asap from either Owen Dunphy (086-3822893) or Mary Dillon (087-3666545).

    1. Juvenile News

Our U-12 footballers had two good wins in the Dougie Partridge tournament in Tramore last Saturday. At the same venue both our U-15 teams have qualified for the semi finals of their 7-a-side tournament.
