    • Eddie O’Donnell Momumental Works East U-21 Hurling Championship Final

    Unfortunately the East U-21 hurling final v Mount Sion fell victim to the bad weather of the weekend and had to be postponed on Sunday due to an unplayable pitch in Carriganore. The game has been re-fixed for next Saturday night at 7pm in Carriganore

    • Annual General Meeting

    Please note the AGM will take place in Gracedieu on next Friday night 11th December at 7pm. All members and intending members are invited to attend.

    • County Juvenile Awards

    The presentation of the various county final man of the match awards took place in Stradbally GAA club on Saturday night. Well done to our winners who were as follows: U-16 hurling Donal Carey, U-16 football Sean Carton, U-15 football Sam Flynn, U-14 football Nathan Finn.

    • Lotto

    There was no winner of our Lotto jackpot and it now stands at €9,500. The next draw takes place on Monday 14th December. Numbers drawn were 13, 19, 28, 29. There were five winners of €20 each.

    Winners: Fiona Geraghty c/o Seller John Sheehan, Stephen Connolly c/o Seller Eamonn Fitzgerald, Michael Greene, Richie Power (squash) c/o Seller Francie Dunphy, Paddy Ryan c/o Seller Lorraine Duke.

    • Condolences

    We extend our condolences to Marie, Niall, Michelle and the Barry family on the death of Richard, Knockhouse Gracedieu. Richard was a great supporter of our teams and his son Niall helped out with the stats for our minors this year while son in law Sean coaches our U-8s. Also Richard’s grandchildren Shiafra and Conor play with our camogie and hurling teams.

    Also to Declan, Rose, Aaron, Caoimhe and Evan Drohan on the death of Rose’s mother Mary O’Brien, Annacarty, Tipperary. The Drohan family are heavily involved with both camogie and hurling clubs.

    • Darren Russell

    Welcome home to our former senior hurler Darren Russell who is on a visit from Australia for Christmas and to celebrate his 30th birthday with his family and friends.

    • Strength and Conditioning

    A Strength and Conditioning class (trainer Conor Geary) commencing on January 6th will take place every Wednesday at 7pm in De La Salle GAA Clubhouse, Gracedieu.  No equipment will be used or required but please bring a towel or mat for use during class. The class will cost €5 per person. Due to limited numbers please book in advance. All are welcome.

    • Munster Junior Final

    Commiserations to Fenor and to Dermot Dooley on last Sunday’s defeat in the Munster junior hurling final.
