    Well Done

Congrats to Alannah McNulty on winning the All Ireland U 16 with Waterford against Limerick in Nenagh last Saturday on a scoreline 4-11 to 1-3. Well deserved.

Well done also to our U 14 club girls Caoimhe Mulvaney, Maggie Gostl and Aoife Connolly who were with the Waterford Blue Squad the weekend who also played in Tipperary.

    Senior Championship Round 2

Dls v St Annes 2-20 to 2-12 win

Our senior camogie squad put in a fine performance in Kill last Saturday evening with having 8 points to spare over the home side.  With fine scores all over the field and good passages of play the girls put in a good shift over the 60 mins. It’s now two from two for the girls with their next game away to An Rinn on Saturday 31st August.

Keep voting for our very own Charlotte Brenner for Ireland’s most inspirational camogie coach. You can do so on the official Camogie website. Keep up the good work.

    • Intermediate Football

Our intermediate footballers bowed out of the championship to Newtown in Kill last Saturday. The concession of an early goal had our lads always chasing the game early on. Whilst playing some great football at times and a missed goal opportunity mid way through the second half gave more momentum to Newtown in the last 15min. The game finished out on a scoreline 1-11 to 0-8.  Thank you to Seamus Quirke and Eoin Casey and the lads for the work they put in over the year

In a hard fought second half our lads did enough to see out the result on a score line of 1-15 to 1-08. We now play on the 14th August in a home fixture to Abbeyside.

    • Camogie News

Hard luck to Brianna Beth and Keeley in their quarter final loss to Galway the weekend in Semple Stadium on a scoreline of 2-16 to 2-08. They gave it everything on the night and just fell short to one of the top teams in the country. Well done to the girls, panel and management on a superb effort for the year.
