Note to Parents:
Dear Parents,
As you are aware Feile commences tomorrow Friday 17th and continues over the weekend. Our u14 Hurlers will host the Michael Dwyers club from Wicklow and have a very busy weekend.
The following is a brief summary of the weekend’s activities
- Games: Our first two games are on Friday in Gracedieu at 4.30pm v Carlow Town and 5.30pm v Passage. All boys are asked to meet in Gracedieu no later than 3.40pm. On Saturday morning we are back in Gracedieu for our final grouop game against Michael O’Dwyers at 10.30am . We will then play a quarter final at 2.30pm and hopefully a semi final at 6.30pm. Venues will depend on our position after our first three games See attached programme for details.
- Guests: For parents looking after boys the following are the arrangements
- Collect in Gracedieu at 6.30pm on Friday. An evening meal will be required.
- Drop to Gracedieu at 9.30am on Saturday Morning
- Collect in Gracedieu at 10pm on Saturday evening.
- Sunday arrangements will depend on Finals etc so we will let you know on Saturday
- Other Events: At 8pm on Saturday we are running a Disco and Barbeque for our own u14 hurlers and camogie players in addition to our two visiting teams. Parents are all also invited to the Barbeque
- Sandwiches, Cakes etc: As Gracedieu is a major centre for games we are required to cater for all teams who arrive at the venue. We are asking parents to bring a tray of mixed sandwiches, buns, cakes etc on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
