OFFICIAL OPENING OF GRACEDIEU COMPLEX
De La Salle GAA Club would like to invite all of its members and supporters to the official opening of the club’s Gracedieu Complex on this coming Saturday 19th August.
The complex which is situated on a picturesque sixteen-acre site in the North-West Suburbs has become the permanent home of the club since 2008. To date €3.3m has been spent on developing purpose built, state of the art facilities for its members
The opening will be performed by former GAA President Seán Kelly with the official ceremony commencing 3pm. However, this is only part of a full programme of activities and games for juvenile and adult players which all club supporters are invited to attend and support.

De La Salle GAA are running a clothes drive for the next 2 weeks to raise money for our club.
Any unwanted clothes can be handed into the Gracedieu Complex during the following times:
Monday – Friday mornings (9 am -> 11 am)
Tuesday & Thursday evenings (7 pm – 8.30 pm)
Saturday (11 am -> 1 pm)

Show starts at 7.30pm sharp with everybody called to be seated as initial medal ceremony begins @ 7.45pm sharp. We have lots of presentations and awards to give out so like all good games a good start is essential to help us manage a busy night. So get the hair done early, polish the shoes the night before and we’ll all arrive on time for what should be a great and memorable night!

HEALTH & WELL BEING
The fourth seminar of the series,‘Concussion Awareness for all Sports’ will be delivered by Shane Mooney from the IRFU on Monday 23rd January in WIT Sports Arena, Carriganore from 630 to 830pm in conjunction with Munster Rugby.
Concussion awareness is a key issue in sport. Whilst Rugby is perhaps the highest profile sport, this is an opportunity for coaches from sports such as GAA, Ladies Football, Hockey, Martial Arts, Boxing, Soccer etc to learn from a presenter with phenomenal experience in the field of concussion awareness.
The content of the seminar has been designed to educate coaches, parents, players and referees OF ALL SPORTS on the dangers of concussion and how to recognise it.
