De La Salle 2-25 Tallow 0-22
Our understrength senior hurlers had a good win over Tallow in the Sargent Cup in Gracedieu last Saturday night in a high scoring game. Features of the game were a point scoring exhibition, with Dean Twomey in particular prominent, and the return to action after injury of Tom Moran.
We led 1-15 to 0-11 at half time with Lee Hayes kicking to the net after John Mullane’s effort was saved by the goalkeeper. The second half was more of the same with Jamie Sage marking his return with an excellent goal ten minutes from the end.

- U-11 A Hurling
De La Salle 5-3 Mount Sion 3-7
Great win by our U-11 side against a very good Mount Sion team in Gracedieu last Wednesday. This was an excellent game throughout and overall a great team performance. We raced into an early lead in the first half with some well taken goals, but Mount Sion slowly clawed back the lead and went in front towards the end of the game. Credit to the lads for going to the end, and our patience bore fruit when from a sideline cut, Alex Keane flicked the ball to the net to claim the win.
